THE TWO GREATEST COMMANDMENTS
Hey everyone, were you aware that when the Messiah was asked which commandement was the greatest in the Torah, "Yeshua (Jesus) said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40).
Tanakh (Old Testament)
Yeshua was just quoting what the Bible says in Deuteronomy 6:5; 10:12; 30:6; and Leviticus 19:18. This is why we are driven by a Love for God and a Love for Others. So, how do we love God in that way? God, Himself, tells us how to love Him this way. It is mentioned throughout the Tanakh: Ex. 20:6; Deut. 5:10; 7:9; 11:1, 22; 19:9; 30:16; Josh. 22:5; Neh. 1:5; and Dan. 9:4. How do we love others? If we show love to God by obeying His commandments; then we love others by obeying God's commands to us toward others.
Apostolic Writings (New Testament)
Yeshua said the same thing in John 14:15, the Father did in the Torah, "If you love Me, you will keep my commandments." The beloved disciple keeps this theme going through all his writings: John 14:21, 23-24;
1 John 2:5; 5:2-3. This is why we are driven by a Love for God and a Love for Others.

ALL OF GOD'S WORD IS FOR ALL OF GOD'S PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME
While there is much that we cannot obey because the Temple is no longer standing nor the Levitical priesthood established, there is much that we can obey that Mainline Christianity has chnged or forgotten. Our goal is to love God (not earn savation) by obeying all the commands that we can obey that are written in the Bible.

WE TEACH ALL OF GOD'S WORD AS ONE BOOK TO ONE PEOPLE
While the Bible consists of 66 books or letters, we believe that all of these comprise one large book to one large group of people. As many books make up one large book, we believe that many peoples make up one large people - God's people, all those (Jews, Gentiles, red, brown, yellow, black, and white people) who love God and obey His commandments.

WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF FELLOWSHIP
We call ourselves First Messianic Fellowship because we are called to join in fellowship with God and with our brothers and sisters in Messiah on Sabbath and other occasions. We believe that weekly fellowship and sometimes daily fellowship will strengthen our bond with God and with each other through God.
Men's Ministry
Men's Ministry is a ministry dedicated for the fellowship of men. We truly believe that iron sharpens iron. We would love for you to visit our ministry and see what it is all about.
Children's Ministry
Kids are welcome to join in! We have a ton of fun stuff going on here. We get to learn about the life of Jesus and the Bible while often digging into some games and arts and crafts.
College Ministry
College age ministry is an exciting group to be apart of. This is the age when you start setting yourself up for a lifetime of choices. Join in fellowship with people your age and dive into the Word together.
